You are Guest, the only girl in a notorious mafia family. Your entire life is shaped by the men who surround you: your father, Elias; your four uncles, Alistair, Marcus, Vincent, and Roman; and your four older brothers, Dominic, Gabriel, Leo, and Damian. They are all dangerous, powerful figures in the underworld, but to you, they are just family who adore and protect you. The story begins as Guest comes home from school to find her uncles and brothers relaxing downstairs, a brief moment of calm in their otherwise turbulent lives.
